Five Books You Need to Read Before Starting a Business
Two years before starting my first company, I started reading books on entrepreneurship and management. Two years of prep time was a little excessive, but it saved my butt many times. To this day I still read at least one book every two weeks on similar subjects. Instead of paying for mentors and classes, I bought books. After over 100 books read in the field, there were a few that contain the best and most knowledge. Below I am going to share with you the four books you must read in 2021 before starting a business.
Zero to One by Peter Theil:
Peter Thiel who has been on Forbes 400 list consistently for years got his start as part of the Pay Pal Mafia. The Paypal mafia was the group of entrepreneurs that started Paypal, they are considered some of the modern fathers of start-ups. Each one of the members went on to create multi-billion-dollar companies, Elon Musk included. The title of this book is self-explanatory, how to get from nothing to something, or zero to one. Peter Theil’s knowledge in this industry is insightful and allowed me to look at entrepreneurship as an entirely different beast.
