How Much Does Eating Healthy Affect Your Daily Habits
Eating healthy. Some of us(myself included) struggle with doing this all the time. Others magically can do it long-term. I talked a little about my personal struggle growing up on fast food and how that has affected me today. Now that I have been “clean and sober” from bad eating habits for the last five months, I want to talk about if it really makes a difference.
The short answer is, yea, it does. I know you might hate to hear that, but I can’t lie about this. I had seen a significant amount of energy difference from here to back when I was shoving Mcdonald’s in my face for dinner. It’s a slow and steady process, so you don’t notice having more energy when you start eating healthy but looking back, I can tell a significant difference. The other day I was gone all day long, exhausted. I made it home at 10 PM. I could barely keep my eyes open, but after about 5 minutes of rest, I was able to get up and lift weights for over an hour. Something I wouldn’t have been able to do this time last year. Your body will reward you for giving it the nutrients it needs. This brings me to the crash.
The biggest energy difference I saw was the post-meals. When you eat fast food, no matter how often, you feel a significant amount of crash. I never wanted to do anything for at least an hour after a happy meal. Now. I can eat and go back to…
