Learning an Entire Language in a Month in 2021 — My April Challenge
One of my favorite things to do in life is challenge myself in any way I can. I am sure if you have followed this blog journey thus far you know this to be true. I love challenges, and the harder, the better. For a while I have wanted to do monthly challenges where I try my best to achieve something in a short amount of time( 30 days). I have done smaller challenges like writing a screenplay in under 48 hours, but it’s hard to really master something in just a weekend. So April will be the first month I introduce the 30-day challenge. This month is. Learning a new language.
Learning a new language is something that I have always wanted to do. It’s something I have always struggled to achieve in the past, but this month, I am determined to accomplish it. The language I am going to learn this month is French.
I took three years of French in high school, and although I can’t say much in the language, it has given me a foundation in the language. It is also one of the easier languages to learn for native English speakers. After all, I am trying to be somewhat fluent in a month, so I will take anything and everything to help me get there.
