Someone Just Tried to Trick me Into Joining a Pyramid Scheme

Pyramid schemes. We all hate them, but they always seem to stay around. if you have been one of the lucky few, who have not experienced firsthand a pyramid scheme. Then I envy you. Today I want to talk about my personal and recent experience with a pyramid scheme.

It all started on one fateful night at Walmart. It was late on a Monday evening when I was getting my groceries. As I was checking out, a nice young man tapped me on the shoulder. As I turned startled by the fact that I know nobody in the city I live in. He turned to me and said, “ Hey, I love your jacket. Where did you get it?” He seemed like a nice guy. Although I wasn’t really in the mood to meet someone new, given that I was there to get my groceries, I simply replied with a smile. I will save you all of the small talk, but needless to say. We hit it off. I told him about the business I run, and he told me about the company he is starting. As I got to my car, he turned and said. “I think you would be a great fit for the company my friends and I are starting. What do you say we meet up sometime and talk about it?” I, being passionate about entrepreneurship, could never pass up a business idea. I agreed and gave him my number.
