Stop Trying To Avoid Working For Selfish Reasons

Ah, another day, another dollar. There is nothing I love more in life than working harder and harder every day so in just a few years I can retire and do nothing. Now you might think by a few years I am in my upper 50s or 60s, spending my whole life working a 9–5 with the plan of putting the boots up for good in a few. But no, I’m just your average entrepreneur with the hopes of never having to work again after 30.

If you know by now through my writing, you know that the first paragraph was a joke. That’s not my plan. I took three years of theater and that about all I got out of it. Despite my lack of skill in drama, it brings up a serious point. Something that I see more often every day as the age of making money online grows significantly. And the best thing I have to say about it is it’s hypocritical. Okay, let me explain.

You want to work, so you don’t have to work anymore after 30 years old? First off, why are you ruining your life working so much for something that is near impossible to happen. Second, what the hell do you have to do that involves not being able to work at all. I mean look at some of the wealthiest people that try to retire like Mark Cuban. After 3 years of traveling the world working zero, he went right back to running a business and owning the Dallas Mavericks. As weird as this sounds, there isn’t enough to do…
