When Will COVID-19 End?
Over the last year, we as a human race across the globe have had to deal with the trials of tribulations within the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite multiple vaccines being produced and issued, it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. With major cities still on lockdown, businesses are closing left and right, governments scrabbling for the best way to resolve this issue. In other words, it has been chaos and has taken everyone for an unexpected loop. The question I get asked more often than sometimes is when I think all of this will end. When will we go back to a time where masks aren’t required, and you can shake someone’s hand without repercussions. A time that feels so long ago, it was only a time last year that everyday life was… normal.
The timeline throughout this pandemic has always ever been frequently changing. When it first broke out in China, nobody thought much of it. It was horrible, but something that “wasn’t our problem.” When it reached the US, everyone assumed that it would only last a month or two. That it wasn’t going to spread from the west coast, and soon we would be able to resume everyday life. We all know at this stage in the pandemic, this is false. Every month I still hear. “It will end in just a few weeks”’. Let’s dive into the details on when it will “really” end.
